"Sergio is one of Mexico City’s true treasures. He shows you the true beauty and authentic history of the stunning farmlands where Mexico was born. His knowledge knows no end and you leave him feeling like family. Don’t go unless you want the real, non-tourist exp of MC and really want to learn. Our best day here. This is the reason we travel."

"Don’t miss this tour! I have long wanted to explore the chinanpas but didn’t know how. The fantastic host partners with local farmers and market merchants to offer a unique experience that you can’t get any other way. He guided us through the farms and canals, taught us about the history and present challenges of the area, and provided a beautiful shaded lunch in the market where I had some of the best food and salsas I’ve ever eaten. We ended with a pulque tasting in the market as well. The host is passionate and kind and the private transportation there and back was very comfortable. I feel like I’m a pretty savvy traveler and I don’t want a tour unless it’s really something I could never access by myself. This is that. Book now!"

"Excellent tour. Sergio was a great guide and had a ton of interesting information. Lunch was delicious, with a great selection of antojitos (small street food dishes) to try. Pickup and transport was easy and comfortable. Highly recommended way to see the real Xochimilco, away from the party boats."

"Sergio took us to the market, and some food stalls, where we ate sopes, quesadillas, tacos and much more (all delicious), all made from the produce of the chinampas. We saw part of the real Mexico, with no tourist traps or vendors! The food and drinks are all included in the trip."
